Become an OLYFO distributor

Last reviewed 8 August 2026.

We are looking for distributors in markets where OLYFO is not yet sold. Not bulk oil for someone else to bottle, and not a label with your name on it — our own brands, in our own bottles, on shelves in your country. It is the part of this business we care most about, and it is the shortest conversation we have: tell us your country and we will say straight away whether it is open.

What you would be selling

  • OLYFO Gold — single-variety Koroneiki, free acidity 0.4% or less, polyphenols up to 400 mg/kg. Specification.
  • OLYFO Gold Organic — certified organic Chemlali, 0.5% or less, polyphenols up to 500 mg/kg. Specification.
  • OLYFO Origins — Chemlali, 0.5% or less, and the range that won our first international medals. Specification.
  • Poppa Peppa — Tunisian antipasti: traditional smoked harissa, Berber harissa, meshouia, olives, artichokes and sundried tomatoes, in 220 g and 320 g jars. They travel on the same pallet and the same paperwork.

Formats are 250 ml, 500 ml, 750 ml and 1 L glass, plus 3 L and 5 L metallic tins for foodservice.

Why these will sell against what is already on the shelf

Three arguments, and all three are checkable rather than claimed.

  1. The medals were won blind. Gold at the London International Olive Oil Competition 2025, gold at Olio Nuovo Days Paris 2025, gold at ONH Tunisia 2025, silver at NYIOOC New York 2025, silver at Canada IOOC 2022, bronze at London and Canada IOOC 2021. Nobody in those rooms knew whose oil they were tasting.
  2. The oil is pressed the same day it is picked. Olives from our own groves in Kairouan and Zaghouan, milled in Kairouan and Jammel on the day of harvest. That is why the free acidity sits at roughly half the legal extra virgin ceiling instead of near it.
  3. You can prove it. Every consignment ships with a certificate of analysis for its own lot — acidity, peroxide value, sensory panel. Hand that to a buyer and you are having a different conversation from every other olive oil on the list.

And one structural argument worth knowing: in 2025/26 Tunisia produced around 500,000 tonnes and exported 352,000, but 86.3% of that left in bulk. Most Tunisian oil reaches shoppers on a European label. A properly branded Tunisian extra virgin, sold as Tunisian, is still a rare thing on a shelf. See the harvest report.

What we put behind you

  • The listing pack every buyer asks for: ISO 22000, HACCP, halal, non-GMO, Ecocert organic under TN-BIO-001 for EU Organic and USDA NOP, and FDA registration 18131951200 for the United States.
  • A certificate of analysis for every lot, not a generic company specification.
  • Visibility on our own channels. We put the brands we supply in front of our audience — website and social — and we exhibit every year at Gulfood, the Summer Fancy Food Show, SIAL, Anuga and IFE. If you are at a show, we can meet your buyers with you.
  • Promotional material built with you, around your market and your channel rather than a template pack.
  • Label compliance for your country checked before anything is printed.

How much of that sits behind a given partner depends on the market and the commitment. It is a conversation, and a better one than a standard package.

Three brands, not one look

Not every buyer wants the same bottle on their shelf. Alongside the 2500 Years of Tradition line — OLYFO Gold, Gold Organic and Origins — we own two further brands, Ifriqia and Al Atika, with a different look and feel.

They are ours, the oil behind them is the same oil, and they exist because a market sometimes calls for a different shelf presence. If the 2500 Years look is not right for your customers, ask to see the other two rather than assuming we cannot serve you.

What we are looking for

  • Existing routes into food retail, foodservice or the speciality trade in your market.
  • The ability to handle your own import clearance and local compliance.
  • Someone who will sell it, not just list it.

Olive oil is an easy category to carry: ambient storage, no cold chain, 24 months of shelf life from production. The logistics are simpler than almost anything else in speciality food.

How a first order works

  • Minimum — one pallet per SKU for OLYFO’s own brands. Low on purpose: a first order should test your market, not fill your warehouse.
  • Lead time — four to six weeks from confirmed order to goods ready to ship. See lead times.
  • Incoterm — FOB Radès, Tunisia, or CIF to your named port. See ports and shipping.
  • Payment — 50% on order confirmation, 50% when the goods are ready to ship. See payment terms.
  • Territory — agreed case by case. We will not promise exclusivity in a first conversation, and you should be wary of any producer who does.

Where we already are

OLYFO exports to more than twelve countries across five continents, and we hold a UK branch for British and European partners. We do not publish a customer list, for the same reason we would not publish yours. If your market is already covered we will tell you in the first reply rather than waste your time.

Questions

Is OLYFO looking for distributors?

Yes, in markets where we are not yet selling. We already export to more than twelve countries across five continents, and we would rather add one committed partner in a new market than three overlapping ones in a market we already serve. Tell us your country first and we will say straight away whether it is open.

What is the minimum order to distribute OLYFO?

One pallet per SKU for OLYFO’s own brands. That is deliberately low — a first order should let you test the market rather than fill a warehouse. Bulk starts at one 20-foot container and private label at three pallets per SKU, but neither is what distribution means.

Do you give exclusive territory?

Territory is agreed case by case and depends on the market, the commitment and the channel. We will not promise exclusivity in a first conversation, and you should be suspicious of any producer who does.

What do you provide a distributor?

The listing pack every retailer asks for — ISO 22000, HACCP, halal, non-GMO, Ecocert organic TN-BIO-001, FDA registration — plus a certificate of analysis for every lot. We feature the brands we supply on our own website and social channels, and we build promotional material with our partners.

What does OLYFO look for in a distributor?

Existing routes to food retail, foodservice or speciality trade in your market, the ability to handle your own import clearance, and someone who will actually sell rather than list. Olive oil is ambient — no cold chain, 24 months of shelf life — so the logistics are simpler than most food categories.

Which markets are still open?

That changes. Ask, and be specific about the country and the channel you sell into.

Tell us your market

Send us the country, the channel you sell into and roughly what volume you think it carries. You will get a straight answer about whether it is open, and a quotation if it is. Send an enquiry or write to sales@olyfo.com.

Other ways to work with us: buy in bulk · private label · start your own brand.
