Olyfo was present in one of the world's largest food industry events : SIAL PARIS !
An international food festival of inspiration, creativity and innovation. It attracts companies from all over the world and has also become a popular destination for local food experts.
During five days, SIAL presented a wide range of exhibitors, local and international culinary brands, and guests from around the world. These exhibitors come to show their products, meet the leading figures of the food world and discuss new trends in the food and beverage industry.
OLYFO was no exception to this. Instead, OLYFO was proud to come share it fast growing experience in producing and exporting Tunisian Award Winning Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
Events like these are an important element to promote our brand OLYFO.
Through a network of interactions with thousands of people and many different industries, we were able to showcase our products and meet distributors, retail professionals, brokers and food specialists.
Our three different brands of extra virgin olive oil were showcased in our booth ; (2500 Years of tradition, 2500 Years of tradition Premium, Al Atika and Ifriqia), and we were happy to reveal some of our new packaging and services.
We had the pleasure to collaborate with three Universities in Toulouse, Paris and Angers opening our doors to Commerce and Marketing professors and students to join the efforts of showcasing Tunisian Award Winning Extra Virgin Olive Oil in SIAL Paris.
Four selected students were invited to work full time with us as Brand Ambassadors during the show. As we are thankful to their efforts, we took some time to collect their feedback after the experience of working in Paris with the OLYFO team.
Ilona, OLYFO Brand Ambassador and Commerce Studies student said she discovered a wide new world of F&B.
« Quand je suis arrivée le 1er jour, j'ai été impressionnée par la grandeur et la diversité de stands et de cultures présents au SIAL. En ce qui concerne, Olyfo, j'ai trouvé le stand très beau et épuré. Ahmed et Yahia ont été très accueillants avec nous et ont su nous mettre à l’aise dans ce salon.. Travailler les 5 jours avec l’entreprise OLYFO a été pour moi une incroyable expérience autant sur le côté professionnel que personnel. J’ai appris tellement de choses sur les méthodes commerciales comme la manière dont il faut discuter avec les gens et démarcher des entreprises. Grâce au SIAL, j’ai pu améliorer mon anglais et devenir à l’aise dans des discussions avec des étrangers. Cette expérience m’a permis de gagner en confiance et en assurance. Je remercie donc profondément Ahmed et Yahia de nous avoir permis de vivre cette opportunité. »
SIAL trade fair is one of the most important trade shows in the world in the food & hospitality industries and these events are an inspiration for the entire food community.
Moreover Amani added « The show was a very enriching and an interesting experience. It allowed me to learn a lot more about international business, negotiations and how to work with people from different cultures. I had the support and trust to talk with more people, dare to do things I’ve never done before. I am thankful for this opportunity. »
Now, we are back to Tunisia and the harvest has started and we are looking to continue expanding our journey of sharing Tunisian Award Winning Extra Virgin Olive Oil with the world.
We are really proud of the results of the event, where our ambassadors had a great time at Olyfo’s Booth. Thanks to everyone’s support, we succeeded in presenting our brand and we had great feedback.
